Conversation with Elisa Del Prete, independent curator and artistic director of Nosadella.due - Independent Residency for Public Art.

When the artist meets the unshielded dimension of the extra-artistic context, concepts and language can't lie. Whenever there is no truth in such an unguarded dimension, the falsity becomes violently evident. The public art is an artistic practice that has no way out from its setting, in terms of time and space and especially human and social context.
The producers have the task of translating, mediating, facilitating, catalysing, increasing this value of public art; the artist the task of telling us where we come from and who we are, without any scientific duty or economical interest.
