Two European cities of comparable size yet very different cultural and
historical backgrounds are the starting point for this exhibition. What
is on display are works created by artists from Sarajevo and Graz which
refer to the respective cities and address questions pertaining to identity
and (urban) life. With regard to the subject matter, the artistic contributions
explore private and collective memories, hidden hi/stories, transformations
and discontinuities in the present and in the past as well as positive
        fictions of living together.
