Serial Cases_01 Acquaintance was conceived at the MSE-Conference (Middle/South/East), organized by < rotor > in Graz in autumn 2004.
The project was Eyal Danon’s und Basak Senova’s idea and it was based on the aim of making use of forms of collaboration and communication that work via works of art. What does the actual cultural exchange accomplish for the audience in the cities of Central and Southeastern Europe and the Middle East? First of all, it provides information about current trends in video art. Secondly, it highlights questions relating to the development of society (or: the various societies) through its choice of topics.
