  Ladies and Gentlemen,

From May to July 2010 the second phase of the project "Annenviertel!" is taking place. We have tied up a programmatic parcel where you, the participant, take centre stage. Your participation in the artistic and cultural events is what we hold near and dear. Here you can check which workshops, tours, paper chases, radio programmes and participatory projects are scheduled. In general participation is free and there is no need to register in most cases.

The Annenviertel is a world in itself and at the same time the entire world is in the Annenviertel. We think that there is an enormous potential in the existing cultural diversity which has to be jointly discovered and appreciated. So let us continue to try to become a neighbourhood where good coexistence of people from the most diverse ethnic backgrounds serves as a model.

Life in the city is full of changes and surprises. Yet not always everything is positive. We are often getting ourselves in the way when it is necessary to spot the positive aspects and opportunities. A certain degree of openness towards new things helps us along here!

But then we also have to ask: Who decides on the development of a city district like this one? Something that concerns all of us in such a direct manner cannot be delegated to only a few people, can it? Isn't this, on the contrary, an issue and a challenge for all of us?

We would be pleased if you participated actively in our programme. We are indeed eager to know what you think about the world of the Annenviertel!
